About the production
13 million tons of clothing are thrown away every year, 95% of which could be recycled or even reused without modification. This is due to mass production and ever faster changing trends. For many brands, it's easier to send unsold items to the landfill rather than leaving them in storage or using them in other ways. We understand that outdated collections are difficult to sell or remanufacture, so we have chosen a new way of production. The best solution ? A production that doesn't even produce tons of clothing. Each item ordered is produced individually and especially for you. This means no waste of leftover pieces as the exact number of incoming orders is manufactured.
With our type of production, we actively combat mass production and thus waste in the clothing industry. Each product is only manufactured once we receive an order. This means we can ensure that every item finds a buyer and that there are no unnecessary remaining stock. We are committed to not simply throwing away prototypes and returns, but also to giving them a home: donations, recycling or discount campaigns

Transparency is a big must for us. We want to provide information about the entire production process and not keep any information secret, because green washing is out! And this also includes the products themselves. We know that not all materials are 100% sustainable and we work hard to counteract this and inform you in detail about each item.

PRODUCTION AND SOURCING MAINLY IN EUROPE
Reze Design's sustainability goals also include reducing its CO2 footprint. The products are sourced from warehouses in Europe*, and external production takes place in European countries, which means the transport route is much shorter and therefore more environmentally friendly.
* some items are manufactured by our partners outside of Europe (with strict consideration of ethical and ecological regulations) Production is stored in European warehouses for few brands.
SUSTAINABLE
MATERIALS
Reze Design regularly works on the selection of sustainable materials. The goal in the next few years is to have collections made from 100% ecological textiles. Today, 80% of the collections are made from certified, recycled or sustainable materials. Each product is marked as sustainable with a symbol on its hangtag.
